Transformational Breathwork Journey

This session left me feeling so nourished and electric! I loved the whole thing. My favorite part, honestly, was the way that Maggie held the space, her energy and her gentle encouragement to get me out of my comfort zone. She invited me to push myself a little, but also gave permission for me to choose what I felt comfortable with. That is a masterful facilitator, someone who encourages you to push yourself while still maintaining titration and safety and feeling their pure presence and love while holding the space. WOW. I am in AWE. Maggie brought so many favorite things to this session for me. She dove in deep with me at the beginning to find where I wanted to get unstuck. When she heard me speaking from my structured mind, she reminded me to drop into the body. She asked me many great questions to get to the root of what I was looking for and set me up for a very meaningful session. She was a confident facilitator and held the space beautifully. My favorite part of the breathwork class is the part where I calmer than the first time we started the class. One time at school I was stressed out from my loud classmates, at recess I did the bliss breath to help me calm down. It worked! Another time, it was the first day back at school, it was very very loud in the classroom and I was stressed out. I did the halo active to calm myself. You are a great listener. I truly loved the opportunity to try the exercise we did at the beginning before breathing, and how safe she helped me feel as I went through that process. During the breath session I enjoyed how she led me through breathing into each chakra and really opening them. It was the first time I was able to breathe so deeply into my solar plexus, sacral, and root; I believe it was that intentional opening in the beginning that allowed for an even deeper experience for the rest of the session. I also loved her cueing throughout and the invitation to scream into a pillow if I felt the desire to; it was my first time ever trying that as a form of release during a session and I really enjoyed it and found it nourishing. I felt that the entire flow of the session was very well spaced out as well and I’m just so grateful that I got to do this session with her today. Truly a beautiful facilitator, so thank you! E.V.
It is really hard to pick one thing I loved most. I love how the random timing got me here. The conversation in the beginning of the workshop was so informative and interesting. And the activity was eye opening and perfectly aligned with the theme of this workshop. About the breathwork portion – OMG it was beautiful! The space you created and your container is magical. The entire time I felt safe even though I have never met you or worked with you before. You really have an amazing gift and I’m so happy I was able to join your session today. Thank you C.B.
My favorite part was the safe container you created. I felt permission to show up authentically as myself and share in ways that aren’t always encouraged. Learning more about the chakra’s was also really interesting, you clearly have been a student of that work for a long time and your confidence in speaking about them, then tying them back to the breath was really clear and I felt safe being led. The breathing itself was very interesting, eventful, for me. It was a very big emotional release, lots and lots of crying. Maggie did a great job in describing what types of things can happen or not, which made it so very welcoming and inviting for all of us to simply have our own experience. I also loved the musical selections. Maggie’s enthusiasm for this work is so obvious and what she has personally gained through it is very encouraging.
